Datatype of ReadData

I am not sure if this is allowed or not.

I am reading in data and after it reads in the first datarecord the types for the columns get set to the data that is in it. My program specifically uses functions that call out integers and floats differently. I would also like to have datarecords where the values have strings also.

Here is my csv file

:UDA,Template,DataType,Category,IsAnArray,NumberOfElements,Buffered,ValueLk,Value1,Value2,Value5,Value6
FloatUDA,$Motor,3,10,True,6,FALSE,1,3.4,6.89,5.234,6.987
IntegerUDA,$Motor,2,10,True,6,FALSE,1,3,6,5,6

The Value1, Value2,Value5,Value6 are floats in the first datarecord so then after that it will treat all of the rest of the data records as floats. Is there any way to clear this. Or set the datatype before using a DataRecord("Value1").

Thanks for your help.

Hi ElroyJ,

It's unclear to me what you're asking, since KBCsv deals only with strings. It doesn't do any conversion for you, so any conversions you do is entirely up to you.
